Hot Town Summer In The City...... The temperatures this summer in LA have been running at least 10 degree's cooler than normal.. But when it gets hot they are 10 degree's hotter than normal... We have had June gloom over the vast portion of the summer.. Which is not bad but it has made for a few humid days.. Since summer started in June we have only had 8 days above 80 degrees... My pal TOM REARDON who lives in Phoenix messaged me and has also been feeling the humidity that far west..... TOM is a great guy we first met when WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES played a show at THE EMERALD LOUNGE with his band HILLBILLY DEVILSPEAK... Come to think of it that was a ultra hot night and the venue allowed smoking so that was really hard on my allergies... I was sick with both my allergies and bronchitis kicking in after staying in a Hotel room in Las Vegas with the Air Conditioning blowing full steam in Las Vegas... TOM and I both share October 18th as our Birthday along with my Boy Toy ZAC EFRON, VANESSA BRISCOE HAY Lead Singer of PYLON, SARAH KNAPP, VINCENT SPANO, ERIN MORAN, PAM DAWBER, DAWN WELLES, CHUCK BERRY and the late LAURA NYRO and we cannot forget LOTTE LENYA..... Speaking of Birthday's it was 33 August years ago that PUNK GLOBE launched it's very first issue.. It was xeroxed and stapled together. The following year it went into newsprint for the First Anniversary.. And now it is online.... I know that you are wondering how "just a Babe in the woods" like myself was ever able to pout out a Magazine... I was simply a Child Prodigy!! I cannot forget my dear friend the late JIM CARROLL'S birthday which was on August 1.... Now to the real news!!!! Did you know that the night before LINDSAY LOHAN entered Lynwood Jail for her sentence her Lawyer of only four days had dropped her as a client... Apparently she would not play by his rules and he washed his hands of her...... . And it looks like LINDSAY LOHAN will only have to spend 2 weeks in the Big House still on her prescription drugs which include Adderalll and Oxycontin... So her jail time was still spent being high minus the booze... How about that fucking sick ass MEL GIBSON???? MARC FLOYD does the best imitation of him.... The Motels are filled with lice and bedbugs along with plenty Pedophiles lurking around... However one small light of hope is HOPE SCHOOL which was started for purpose of looking after these kids so their parents can work or look for work during the day... AYUMI moved to NYC and I lost contact with her but I remained close to YASUKO.. So here is my six degrees of separation story.... I had told him all about RABIND RAWKS... It turns out that PATRICK knew the guys in THE DAY GLOW ABORTIONS, WENDY THIRTEEN, KARLA MCLEOD, DOA, POINTED STICKS, GERRY JENN WILSON and some other folks that are also my pals from Vancouver so we became friendlier... When PATRICK and his family were visiting in Hollywood we both met a Tarot Card Reader named GYPSY who claimed that his Father owned the building that WENDY THIRTEEN and the COBALT were in... He was reading cards on the Hollywood Blvd so PATRICK gave him $100 to read for the both of us.... During my reading he spoke of someone in my life named Raymond, Ramone or something sounding like that .. PATRICK immediately thought RABIND. Since that night RABIND has become friends with KARLA, WENDY THIRTEEN and GERRY JENN on My Space.. AYUMI, YASUKO and I have reconnected after years apart thanks to BERRY SEPTIC aka BARMY... In the last email that I heard from RABIND he asked in his broken English "How dog that talks?" BOB and NANCY JACKSON are back from a 7 day vacation in Incline Valley Nevada where they had a grand time.. I wish that club PATA PLACE still was happening there.. PATA PLACE had bands that played and it was a hangout for all the Snowboarders who came to Incline Village during the winter... One of WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES wildest and most dangerous shows happened there.. We were on tour and I had gotten really hoarse so a cute Bartender suggested a shot of 151 well after about 6 shots I was feeling no pain.. We took the stage and we had the crowd reved up and ready to Rawk.. Before the set I searched the club for around 8 - 10 of the finest guys in the club... Asked them if they wanted to be in the show but failed to tell them they would only be wearing tighty whiteys... But hey they were part of the show and were on a ledge shaking their money makers I told them to take a hat and get tips... All of a sudden a fight breaks out in the pit.. After the 6 shots I was feeling no pain so I pulled one of the guy's off the another guy... To my shock he was swinging a blade at everyone.. I felt just like The QUEEN OF THE CHOLITA'S- MS. AMY WINEHOUSE... He and his home boys had already stabbed a few guys in the pit.. Luckily our almost naked dancers had no been touched and were safe and sound.. The Police and The Ambulance were called and some of the gang members were popped... Well of course I needed a couple more shots for my nerves and the dancers were also very happy that I had not put them in harms way . So of course they got me shots... By the end of the night I had lost my big coat and had to walk up a very steep hill with freezing snow coming down.. Luckily one of the guys who was a Bartender (and whom I tried to recruit as a Go Go Boy) at PATA PLACE also lived in the Condo we were staying at... He was so cool and let me sleep with him in his bed as he had an electric blanket and he was Hot! But I was pretty drunk.... Luckily I found my coat in the van in the next morning.. But I was nursing a huge hangover... After 20 cups of java and some food I was fine... Also playing that night was JOSI KAT and her band PISSANT... I believe her former bass player AMY may have video footage of that show... Speaking of Pits... MOBY went back to his hardcore roots with a reunion of VATICAN COMMANDO'S at The Mercury Lounge in NYC... KITTY KOWALSKI who was once a member of the band flew in from Colorado to play to the show..... BEBE BUELL and JIMMY WALLS attended the show and were surprised by the turnout and how rough the pit was... Poor KITTY had to fight the crowd to get on the stage to play... 45 GRAVE were recently touring the East Coast MARY aka DINAH OF CANCER and LISAFER had a gas on the road.... JAH WOBBLE's latest Super Group NIPPON DUB ENSEMBLE featuring JAH WOBBLE, GARY LAMMIN, RAT SCABIES of THE DAMMED and MARTIN STACEY played their first show in July at the 100 Club in London... It was a sell out show.... The band has decided to do a tour in September..... Check out TYLER VILE'S new review of THE DUEL'S new yet to be released CD.. It is sizzling!!! CARL SNARL back in Chico for a few days this month... BARBARA BOXER and Carly Fiorina are in a dead heat according to polls for the California Senate seat ... Congratulations to AMY CARLSON she has a role in the new CBS Drama "BLUE BLOOD" portraying DONNIE WAHLBERGS wife.... She has been getting great reviews from the preview DVD's given to the critics.... Now she and PAULEY PERRETTE are both on CBS.. Oddly enough AMY guest starred on NCIS as did RUDOLF MARTIN... AMY along with JENNIFER "PRECIOUS" FINCH, PAGE DARLING and TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD were Guest Singers on "HEY NICK.... YOU DID OKAY" by THE WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES...Which be featured on the CD being released by STONEAGE RECORDS in Jakarta... Speaking of PAULEY I must find out who she is rooting for on the new "BIG BROTHER" that is airing 3 X a week on CBS.. In previous seasons Big Brother aired right after NCIS on Tuesdays but now that spot belongs to NCIS LA ... So BIG BROTHER is now doing Wednesdays with eliminations on Thursday.... STACY TUTTLE has been very busy with a day job but she is ever so loyal with keeping up with PUNK GLOBE!! Of course she is right on course with CAMPAIGN FOR CARE!!
