RO THE KNIFE
As the holiday
season draws near, remember, it's not about how many prezzies
we'll get, (shut up! it's NOT all about the prezzies!!) but
how much we open our hearts and remember those around us and
those who have gone on before us.
We all come together at Punk Globe magazine to honor the music
and the musicians who make it.
Not everyone can do it and some do it far better than
others. Some aren't around long enough for our liking. This
talent is truly a gift.
The thing about "gifts" is the more you give in life, the more
you get back. So when you sleep in your warm bed, and your
tummy is full of food, think about those who are going to be
sleeping the cold, going hungry, or just wanting to have
another human being to talk to and give a little.
Take a spare blanket or two to someone who is homeless, work a
soup kitchen, say "Merry Christmas" to someone who looks like
they could use it. Chances are you'll probably hear the music
of someone's heart singing .
Merry Christmas and a Kick Ass New Year, my fellow Punkers.
The thing about trains... it doesn't
matter where they're going. What matters is deciding to get on.
So get on the Christmas Punk Globe Express on this holiday and
enjoy the wonderful journey all through 2008!!

Carney's Festive Recipe
Eggnog
6 eggs
3 cups milk
8 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
In a large bowl, beat the eggs using an
electric beater (if available).
By turn, add milk & sugar.
Continue beating until mixture thickens slightly.
Add in the vanilla essence & ground nutmeg.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled (at least
3 hours).
Serves: 8.
