Globe Photographer Jim Jocoy does an excellent job of
illustrating the late 70's in his photo journal "We're
Desperate" on Powerhouse Books. The Book features portraits of
Darby Crash, Chris D, Iggy Pop, Sid Vicious, John Waters,
Bruce Connor, Jello Biafra, Ginger Coyote, Sue Brisk, and
members of X, The Cramps, The Avengers, Flipper, The Weirdos,
VS, Mutants, The Plugz, Levi and the Rockats, The Screamers,
The Nuns and many others. Jim also includes alot of the people
on the scene besides the bands. The Forward by Marc Jacobs,
essay by Exene Cervenka, and interview by Thurston Moore.This
is an excellent photo book for any Coffee Table
