I was sent this CD Today, from The Plimptons,
They are a 6 piece DIY band from Glasgow UK. They have been together for 11 years,
I played the CD which I found to be a warm jingly Christmas tune, with a ska pop punk style sound.
It makes you wanna jingle and jive away along to the tunes! It puts you in a Christmas spirit of mind!
Its a 3 track CD, all Christmassy to play at Christmas!!
They have a "Madness", "The Buzzcocks" influence, which you can hear in their sounds
They say " Christmas all over this town is a rollicking Christmas sing along in the classic mould, at once a poignant ode to Christmases past and a drunken celebration of the Christmas about to pass"!!
