I really rate Starlet Suicide who are a brilliant Rock N Roll band from Sweden. I caught up with Jennyfer Star for an interview and here´s what she said on behalf of the band.

 Punk Globe: Jennyfer can you introduce Starlet Suicide to our readers?

Jennyfer: Yes. We´re a four piece band from Stockholm Sweden that plays glampunk!

Punk Globe: So how long have you been going and how did the band come to form?

Jennyfer: I started the band spring 2004 and I asked some friends if they were interested in joining my new band.

Punk Globe: You've done two ep's so far so when can expect a full player from you guys?

Jennyfer: We´re working on a record deal. Hopefully it wont take too long.

Punk Globe: How have the ep's been recieved by fans and the press?

Jennyfer: We have recieved very good reviews both from fans and critics but of course there are also people that doesnt like what we´re doing.

Punk Globe: What inspires you to write the lyrics and play the music that you do?

Jennyfer: Life in general.. The lyrics are mostly about being angry, sad, upset, strong or in love.

Punk Globe: As a woman do you ever recieve and sexist remarks from other bands?

Jennyfer: Not really. At least not anymore. I think (and hope) that people can see that I am a good singer and songwriter :-)

Punk Globe: So what is Sweden like scene wise? Do you get many places to rock out at?

Jennyfer: Sweden has a great rock scene!! I think we are pretty spoiled…

Punk Globe: If you could just play with one artist/band who would it be and why?

Jennyfer: I´d love to play with Fabulous Disaster! They´re a great band from San Francisco.

Couldn´t agree more Fad Disaster are a great band and great people too!

Punk Globe: Would you ever strip on stage to give a shock element to the band?

Jennyfer: No. I think that my music speaks for itself and I don’t need to do stuff like that to get attention. Besides, I dont think that its very shocking to strip nowadays.

Punk Globe: Can we ever see you guys coming to the UK?

Jennyfer: We´d love to play U.K..! And we seem to have alot of fans over there so hopefully someday in the future!

Punk Globe: Would you like to ask me a question?
