After the landmark film The Street Fighter made Sonny Chiba a superstar comparable only to Bruce Lee, it was only a matter of time before the sequels starting coming. Two sequels were released starring Chiba and then this series of films featuring a female in the lead role.

Sister Street Fighter stars Etsuko Shihomi as the female ass kicker and Chiba returns in a different role as a martial arts instructor. It follows a familiar plot of a detective gone missing and his sister comes to seek revenge. The film spawned three more sequels included in this box set. While not as visceral as The Street Fighter, these films have a lot of great martial arts action and the all girl army in the Fred Flintstone outfits is unforgettable.

Disc one features Sister Street Fighter while the second disc has three features; Sister Street Fighter: Hanging By A Thread, Return Of The Sister Street Fighter and Sister Street Fighter: Fifth Level Fist. Both discs are full of great extras and subtitle options.
