Interview With Rubee Tuesday
by Steve DIY

Rubee is in a couple of discussion groups I´m in and always comes across as a very cool person. After checking her out a little more on My Space I decided it was time to interview her. Here´s what Rubee has to say about her life style and chosen occupation of work.

Punk Globe: First off Rubee can you introduce yourself to our readers?

Hi everyone, I´m Rubee Tuesday and I´ve been involved in adult work now for 6 years. I´ve done over 200 movies and projects and also work as a dominatrix.

Punk Globe: I must ask you this who does your hair as it looks well good?

I do it myself and it´s a lot of work. LoL. I use 2 types of hair dye and also hair products to keep the color fresh because red fades very easily.

Punk Globe: I´m aware you do dancing but I think you also do porn/fetish photo shoots right?

I´m still doing fetish shoots. I haven´t done any porn for a few months now. I´m focusing primarily on BDSM work now.

Punk Globe: What are your limits in the sex industry - What kind of work wont you do?

Well when I came into the industry, I had few limits, except double anal. Now I have quite a bit more. I may still do anal if I like the director and the price was high enough, but I´m no longer persuing any porn projects so they´d have to come to me. I´ve turned a couple down recently as I really want to focus most my attention on fetish/pro domme work. I no longer will do high risk sex acts on camera.

Punk Globe: Anything you´d like to try but haven´t the chance to do?

Not really. Maybe more mainstream soft core/acting work, which I´ve done a few times for playboy tv. Or being flown to Europe for a project. :) I did do a bondage shoot in Switzerland a couple of years ago for modelstied.com which was very cool. But I was already in Austria visting, when I was offered the shoot.

Punk Globe: Some would argue that you´re oppressing women by doing what you do so any opinions on this?

How could I be oppressing women? I´m making choices that align with my own sensibilities. As my sensibilities change, so do my choices. Women need to empower themselves by making their own choices by following their conscience and values. I have no right to dictate to them what the correct choices are for their journey and self actualization, and they should have the same respect for me. I don´t think portraying sexual pleasure is an oppressive thing at all, if done to show pleasure and enjoyment. I believe firmly in female goddess power and the valid expression of that power.

Punk Globe: The biggie - Can you be a feminist and still work in the sex industry?

Yes. You will have mixed feelings at times, especially with some of the mindset that operates in that industry. But in any field of work, you are going to deal with people that have an ignorant, oppressive mindset.

Punk Globe: Do you get much grief for what you do because you´re 40 and a parent?

No. I´m discreet about it.

Punk Globe: You´re very confident in yourself so do some people find you scary because you have a brain and can speak up for yourself?

LoL, I hope so!!!!!!

Punk Globe: From the photos I´ve seen you are very hot so do you have to work hard at staying trim or are you one lucky lady who´s naturally blessed with a gorgeous figure?

No, I have to work at it. Although I haven´t been going to the gym as much lately, but it is a big part of my life. I also try to eat sensibly and drink lots of water. But I do have good genes too! :)

Punk Globe: You are one educated lady so why the sex industry when I suppose you have many other options?

At the time, it made sense to me, when I entered. I had just gotten clean and sober and wanted to fulfill a fantasy and experience a natural high/adreneline rush. The sex industry provided that. Plus I wasn´t ready to reenter the nine to five world. I wanted a fun job that went against the norm, being an old school punk with a rebel spirit and a voracious sexual appetite. I also wanted to only work part time, and go back to school so it was a practical choice on many levels for me.

Punk Globe: How do you feel about the political climate in the USA at the moment? Do you think Mr Bush is doing a good or bad job for you?

I´m not at all pleased with the current political climate. I find it disheartening. I think Bush is one of the worst presidents we have ever had. I´d wish he had gotten "left behind"instead of so many of America´s children. That is why I´m now in grad school to become a social worker. I want to do my part to help allievate the suffering that oppressive policies, such as his, cause for many Americans.

Punk Globe: Have you a website up and running aside from My Space?

Yes, www.rubeetuesday.com

Punk Globe: So apart from working the sex industry what other things do you get up to?

Education, education, and more education. I love to learn, I love advancing in my education, and I love to expand my mind and remain teachable. I´m so damned excited to now be in grad school and making another dream come true through hard work and perservence. I also am very into music, go to a lot of concerts, and films. I also enjoy travel. I like to go to goth/fetish clubs too.

Punk Globe: Any new year messages for our readers?

To thine own self be true.

Punk Globe: Anything you´d like to add?

Practice random acts of kindness and have compassion for others. Cultivate a peaceful heart. Follow your dreams!!!!

Thanks very much to Rubee for doing the interview. Hopefully this should make more people aware and at the same time giving them as much enjoyment as I got from reading Rubee´s answers.
