Round Eye is a band of American expats living in Shanghai. The group have a unique progressive punk sound. Their newest track, Billy, is an attack on the increasing brutality of American Police. This is definitely a ballsy track with a strong message.
The fact that they aren’t afraid of censors or hurting feels amplifies the power behind their message. Round Eye is nuts!
The group packs each song with wicked lyrics, maddening guitar riffs and killer bass lines. The surprising catch to their sound? Round Eye was banned from playing live shows for a few years! This band is something else.
After listening to Billy I checked out their self titled debut. I loved this album. Turn the speakers up and raise some hell. The energy is relentless.
