This month's PUNK OF THE MONTH award goes to DR. MEHMET OZ or DR.OZ as most all of us know him.... DR. OZ was born in Cleveland Ohio the son Turkish immigrants SUNA and MUSTAFA OZ.. His father MUSTAFA earned a scholarship that allowed him to emigrate to America with his wife... MEHMET went to medical school and graduated with honors and became a Cardiothoradic Surgeon... When Talk Show Queen OPRAH WINFREY began noticing a irregularity with her heart beat she immediately went to see him... After many tests he informed her that the issue that was causing her irregular heart beat was the Big M --- Menopause... He soon became a regular on THE OPRAH WINFREY show and his popularity grew. In 2009 MS. WINFREY gave him his on show produced by HARPO STUDIO'S called THE DR. OZ SHOW... When OPRAH left Daytime to start OWN in 2011. She gave DR. OZ her coveted time slot . I love DR. OZ because he urges people to find natural remedies like herbs and vitamins before using pharmaceutical drugs... He also has a very likable bedside manner... It is because of this that PUNK GLOBE is proud to give DR. OZ this month's PUNK OF THE MONTH award.

This month's PUNK OF THE MONTH award goes to formerLas Vegas Tattoo Artist the late ETHAN ALEX LAROSA.... ETHAN grew up in Santa Cruz, California and also in Kapahula Hawaii where he kept busy enjoying the beach, surfing and skateboarding... He moved to San Francisco where he got involved with punk rock... He sang with the East Bay band Hell's Kitchen and various other bands up and down the coast..... In 1995 ETHAN got into doing skin art at various shops in Hawaii.. He moved back to the mainland in 2000 and was working at private studio called STRETCH TATTOO'S SIN CITY in Vegas.. So ETHAN ALEX LAROSA it is because you caught SHARLA CARTNER'S eye and did such great ink work that PUNK GLOBE is proud to give you this month's PUNK OF THE MONTH.... We at Punk Globe will miss you very much Ethan! R.I.P.
