I have been patiently waiting for this newest release since 2010 when the last kick ass record "We Want Blood !" had come out ! I really dig this trio, and have followed them since 2004. I have purchased all of their Cd's,DVD, and some t shirts. They are a Dutch band from Eindhoven, and first formed in 1997 by front man, guitarist, Peter van Elderen. Their earlier material reminds me a bit of a cross between Zeke and Motorhead, but with their own unique punk rock n roll twist. This newest release however took me by surprise. Most of the songs have slowed down a bit but have allowed for a lot more interesting guitar work. Not to worry; there are still plenty of their fast, short, blistering trademark songs on this CD to keep even the most hardcore longtime faithful speedrock fan's drug addled short attention spans piqued at maximum overdrive. The drums and bass are brutal enough to please any metal head or punk rocker of any age. As always the lyrics are intelligently written with quite a bit of wit and sarcastic humor. Songs such as " Loose Women and Loud Guitars', "Whatever Man', "Bad Thing" and "Buckle Up and Shove It" really stand out for me and put a smile on my face. Then,on the other end of the musical spectrum were songs like "Tunnelvision" and 'Heart Full of Soul " which really shows the versatility in the way these guys can write and arrange really good rock and roll. What more can I say ? Do yourself a favor, and buy this record. For a three piece band, these guys blow away most of the overproduced, soulless, rehashed garbage that gets passed off as "good music" these days. I missed these guys last US tour when they came through Seattle and will NOT let them slip past me again ! From all the live You Tube videos, and the DVD of live shows I've seen, and from what friends that have seen these guys live tell me, they are a band not to be missed !
