Jim Miller's book Niceness in the ’90's is a punk rock memoir... But he seems to forget anything that was bad that happened in the 90's.... Believe me lots bad things happened... Chicago-native Jim Miller moved to Los Angeles make it as a musician. Playing in bands such as Trash Can School with Andy Seven and also Black Angels Death Song he was playing legendary venues such as Raji’s, Al’s Bar, The Garage and other clubs . There is no mention about the Coconut Teasers now infamous Sunday night BBQ's sponsored by KXLU...
Miller has a stories about touring with with Trash Can School and Black Angel’s Death Song. Various shows he attended... He seems to have loved L7... The death of one of his brothers along with the untimely suicide of Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. Meeting Courtney Love . The writers for Flipside are also prominent.. Jim's book is a quick, fun read. Nice photos of L7( especially the Suzi Gardner photo's) , the late Bianca Butthole, Donita Sparks, Courtney Love, Love Battery and his family.. It seems to me that he was a promoter at one point but he does not mention it in the book..
