It's been 4 days since the New York Dolls played at the Henry Fonda Music Box, and I'm still sore. The Fonda became a time capsule of 1976 rock and roll spirit! I first met the Dolls in 1974 when I was 14. I told them I was 15 years old. I saw the Dolls last year at the Sunset Junction with the Weirdo's and Candy Kane.
The show was so exciting and the fact that there is all this new energy having lost Arthur and Johnny. Arthur and his Wife and I spent a lot of time hanging out on the set together.
Sylvain Sylvain is still a master showman. He is like a slippery Panther. He looks great just the same, or at least that's how we felt about each other.
The after party was Ohso Soho, on the roof of the Henry Fonda with 300 New Yorkers, Sirius Trixion, straight from the hospital. Patric, Robbert Stoddard, Tim, Paul Black, Kerol Reye, Smog Vomit. I was introduced to Kevin from Bauhaus and Love & Rockets.
Then it was off to the Velvet Margarita we went. Uggh my head. I went to the In Magazine Party. Why do Gay people seem happier than straight people? I ran into Marshall Ohboy there. The joint was jumping, but my ride was squirming to leave so I only go to stay 10 minutes.
I went to the Ghetto Gloss Gallery to see Angelo from Fishbone performing as Doctor Madvibe, it's a nice gallery, Club Fluffer is in on line to do something with them.
The Ting Tings are in town. I gotta see them, they have a new young sound, They are playing South by Southwest. Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols will be broadcasting live at www.indie1031.com
It all starts this weekend Friday,Saturday, and Sunday.

I was feeling a little swollen and bloated but this is Hollywood and one must rise to the occasion. I reached in my Armoire and pulled out a Red and Black Velvet sequined Vatican Guard outfit and a tam. Off we went; my comrade and I.
The occasion was the fashion week after party for Maggie Barry Perfume and clothing designer to the stars. The Party was held at Citizen Smith in Hollywood's chic oasis on Cahuenga Blvd. In attendance were many designers and models from the Smashbox show, where Maggie Berry had shown her New Gear and Lovely chanteuse Morganne strode down the Catwalk. I meet Brent Kuhlmann who has a shop called Xubaz, located on Nebraska Ave. in Santa Monica. A tall dark and Handsome European designer who caught my eye for style..
Peroni beer was being served as the Official beer of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Which lasts from March 9 through the 13th.
This Catered affair was packed and a good time was had by all. Don't forget to come to the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Tuesday the 25th for Club Fluffer and killradio.org's real live Rock and Roll show complete with Morganne, Ruby, Felicity, comedy from Mike Dick, Burlesque and you!

RUTLEMANIA RULES ON VINE STREET
The phone rings and my Galpal Cyn is on the the other end. She said "Do you want to go and see the Rutles," I said, 'Where?' and 'Yeah' and 'What time? Let's Go and meet at the Cat and Fiddle for a pre play pint.' Having said that, her car hot Derby Doll, she super rockabilly. I have a Bass and Cyn has a Newcastle, then on to the Ricardo Montalban Theater on Vine St.
Indeed Rutlemania is alive and well and the the house is at capacity for the second performance. Eric Idle and Lorne Michael's modestly presented Rutlemania, the semi-spectacular Tribute Concert starring the Fab Four as the Prefab Four -- Dirk, Nasty, Stig, and Barry -- the semi Legendary Rutles whose legend will last a Lunchtime.
It was devised. and directed by Eric Idle and the music and lyrics by Neil Innes. I love the Rutles. It is a parody of the Beatles entire career in 90 minutes with the evolution and costuming worked in and the constant presence of Groupie Go Go dancers.
The flyer states - "Yes Mersey Boys Live on Stage for a few nights only! Plus real girls with singing and dancing and exotic tea drinking." This was a once in a Lunchtime experience and during intermission I stepped out for a fag and because of my filthy addiction I was out in front all alone and I met Eric Idle outside. He said I have a wonderful name! I admire his all round brilliance. The show's at Ricardo Montalban Theater 1615 Vine street in Hollywood.
You can get tickets on a first come first serve basis March 15th-21st at 8pm. Then get ready New York, because Rutlemainia will invade your town at Blender Theater at Gramercy 127 East 23rd street, NYC March 26-29th 8pm.
