Some Of The Best Songs Ever Written Are 'Preachy!'

Bob Dylans 'With God On Our Side' is possibly one of the best Songs ever written in the history of music. And he is preaching up a storm about the sorry nasty things human beings do to one another all in the name of GOD! Barry MaQuire's 'Eve Of Destruction' one of the most perachiest songs ever written. When he did it on Ed Sullivan eons ago, Ed rolled his eyes and made a face! When Phil Oaks sang 'I Ain't A Marchin Anymore' he was preaching to high Heaven about how soldiers have been dying for Babylon for thousands of years. And now:

I AINT FUCKING MARCHIN ANYMORE ! PREACH BABY PREACH.

What a shame. Most people don't want to hear the truth about fucked up situations in both this country and the world. They would rather hear 'Oh you broke my heart. I love you still. Oh I am so blue. Oh how upset I am you dont love me anymore' Etc. You know. Things to get your mind off the grim reality of the world situation so the bastards can keep on fucking with you!

Well YOUR AUNTIE JAYNE IS A BORN PREACHER AND I SHALL PREACH TILL YOUR FUCKING EARS FALL OFF CAUSE I AINT GONNA BULLSHIT YOU I AM GONNA GIVE YOU THE TRUTH CAUSE IT COULD ACTUALLY SAVE YOUR FREEDOM OR YOUR LIFE. I AM THE WATCHMAN WHO WATCHES FROM THE TOWER TO GIVE OUT A SHOUT OF WARNING TO ALL THE KIDS AND PEOPLE I LOVE !!

When a friend of mine recently said my new songs were 'preachy.' I thought. Well you just don't get it! After all these years you still don't get it! The only way people will listen , is to preach at them and the SMART ones will listen and make a move to protect themselves and pass the word on down to others. And the ones who turn away and have ears but they cannot hear, well good luck cause you are gonna need it!!!!!! There is something dark and sinester happening here! What it is ain't exactly clear, but it's time to STOP CHILDREN WHATS THAT SOUND. EVERYBODY LOOK WHATS GOING DOWN !!!!!!!!!

And I shall PREACH it untill they either take me away or order me to leave the country! I am Scotch/Irish and Cherokee! We preach! We fight! And we protect and warn our friends! Cause we love them! And we love our freedom and HIGHLY RESENT anyone who tries to take it away in the name of God and NATAIONAL SECURITY! I have taken it upon myself to fight and bring as much REVOLUTION as I possible can for the rest of my life. I have become DEDICATED.

And the dedicated PREACH AND WARN THEIR FRIENDS AND THE SMART ONES WILL GLADLY LISTEN AND SUPPORT YOU! As I preached in my song 'Storm The Gates Of Heaven' and 'Cry Of Angels' and 'Wall City Girl' and more! You don't have to 'preach' in every one of your songs, but to ignore the political situation is both COWARDLY AND INSANE !!!
