Can you imagine opening the door and seeing a Gorilla with a Ukulele dressed in an Hawaiian shirt bringing you telegram?? JAN who was a Hairdresser started this small business especially aimed at dressing couples for the prom or weddings.. She even had a photo of two teen boys dressed in prom attire holding hands... So she was progressive and not a bigot... She also catered to people that wanted to buy a vacation package to Hawaii and wanted to spruce up their image a bit... For a mere sum of $1,000- $5,000 she could give you a complete make over. and a trip to Hawaii.. I wonder if she found JESSICA BUCHANAN'S Prom Dress on "ONE LIFE TO LIVE" when JESSICA and MR. VEGA were crowned Homecoming King and Queen ... JOHN WATERS would love both of them... I just wonder if JAN and BEBE "BIG HAIR" BARDOT ever crossed paths.. The show was allegedly filmed live according to the press the following Sunday after BRET MICHAELS appeared on THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW... In between OPRAH and THE APPRENTICE he supposedly suffered a Warning Stroke being hospitalized with a numbing to one side of his face and body. Yet when he appeared on the live APPRENTICE segments he showed no evidence of having had a Stroke. He did have a limp when he was walking... He was alert and when TRUMP asked if it was dangerous for him to be there.... He replied that just getting up from bed was dangerous.. YVONNE FRANKO called to let me know that she had sewed some of the outfits that CRYSTAL BOWERSOX wore on the Season Finale of American Idol.. However that did not bring enough votes and luck that she needed to win .. LEE DEWYZE was crowned the new American Idol... This was a very special show Judge SIMON COWELL had announced at the beginning of this season that this would be his final season on the show.. There was indeed a memorable goodbye salute to SIMON... After showing video clips of departed judge PAULA ABDUL the curtains opened and there she was... PAULA ABDUL pretty in pink, funny and very entertaining. She made it very evident that she deeply cares alot for SIMON.. She also hinted that they would be working together again so one wonders about whether or not that she will be on his new project THE X FACTOR.... Band Founder PETER WARNER was at the top of his game when he took his own life leaving the other three to continue as a three piece... They called it quits in the late 80's.. Attention anyone who has ever withdrawn money from an ATM that was not affiliated directly with a Bank... REBECCA G. WILSON recently withdrew $100 from a ATM that was located in a fairly prominent Chain Grocery Store in her area.. On her first try she got a receipt saying the the transaction did not go through. So she tried again and got the cash.. When she checked her bank the next day she noticed that her account had $200 removed from it. Luckily she had saved the receipt saying the transaction did not go through.. She immediately went to the Market who sympathized with her but were unable to help her. They did give her a number to contact the independent company who installed the ATM.. Of course she could not get through to a live person on the phone.. You know the old automated routine of pressing dozens of numbers and then being promptly disconnected before you can speak live to anyone.. However she went to her to her bank with the receipts to prove that the date and times all matched up and was immediately reimbursed. The Message of this story is- Heed with caution if you do use one of these ATM'S... Be sure to keep all the receipts in a safe place because this happens very often..... Without a receipt with an explanation of the transaction along with the date and time - it is your word against theirs... I have noticed that alot of bars who only take cash have these ATM Machines..
