STRIKE is finally over!! YIPEE ....Just in time for THE
OSCAR'S....It is HELL living in the Hollywood and Highland area
during the Oscars because of all the roadblocks and traffic jams in
the area... So many Helicopters, Paparazzi and Police Cars all
over.... But on to the fun.... Happy ST. PATRICK'S DAY to you all
!!!! If you are not familiar with or don't celebrate ST. PATRICK'S
DAY- it is a celebration to pay homage to the Irish, The Blarney
Stone, Leprechaun's and of course the most important being Irish
Whiskey.......
Hats off to Our Girl- MS.AMY WINEHOUSE for winning 5
Grammy Awards... She is the first Woman from England to ever win 5
Grammy's in one night... I loved her Back -Up Dancers and felt her
performance -minus TINA TURNER'S was the best of the show..... It
was great to see LITTLE RICHARD, CHER and CYNDI LAUPER.... ARETHA
FRANKLIN is The "QUEEN OF SOUL" Get that straight BEYONCE .... TINA
TURNER is ROCK n ROLL.... Her counterpart was JANIS JOPLIN.... Rumor
has it that AMY WINEHOUSE'S hubby BLAKE who is in the Big House is
trading autographed photo's of AMY for dope...... Apparently he got
some bad junk and OD'd !! !!! Just in case everyone is waiting for
news of the WTD/ JP5 "ANARCHY IN THE BC" Tour there are new dates
May 23- Logan's Pub in Victoria, May 24th- The Cobalt in Vancouver
and May 25th at Garfinkels in Whistler... WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES
will be having the one and only DOUG DONUT playing drums with us...
ERIC STICKBAG had previous engagements he was obligated to so he
will not be joining us in Canada...

least 9 weeks and she is now itching to get back to work.....You

BIRTHDAY!!!! His birthday is on MARCH 25!!!!!
VOICE OF ADDICTION ( V.O.A. ) will
be releasing a new CD in early March look for it......Hope you all
enjoy my interview with MIKE DUTZ from BIG BROTHER 8... MIKE took a
trip recently up to Oregon to partake in a "Meet and Greet" with
fans of Big Brother at KAIL Resort... Also on hand were JAMES,
HOWIE GORDON, JENNIFER, DANIELLE DONATO, ZACH and of course MIKE and
KAIL..They also watched the premiere of BIG BROTHER 9 with all the
Big Brother fans.. Oddly enough DICK DONATO did not partake in the
event!!
On the BB9- I like MATT, JAMES, ALEX, ALLIE and SHEILA who
once dated SCOTT BAIO. SHEILA was on SCOTT BAIO'S Reality Show twice
now- not to mention has been a Penthouse Centerfold... She is the
oldest member of the household and did not pretend to be happy about
Big Brother pairing her up with ADAM...It looks like it will be a
fun season... It was great to see YAU MAN on SURVIVOR "FAN'S vs
FAVORITES" even though he was voted off way to soon... ... I know
that CBS Photographer- GAYE ANN BRUNO took alot of photo's of the
new cast.....MIKE ADAMS and BRANDON SMITH are heading to Kansas
soon to star in a new film by STEVE BALDERSON..It should be good
fun AMY KELLY and LADY MONSTER will also be in the Movie for the
scenes that MIKE and BRANDON are in..... THE WUTARS recently played
this first gig outside of the UK in Stockholm Sweden....
It was a
launch party for their new Single...Thanks for the update
VERONICA!!! ZACH MOREHOUSE and his production company TUFFNERD
PRODUCTIONS have a new video game out called "CHARM CITY ROLLER
GIRLS - ALL STARS" check it out on U-Tube..... BILLY ZOOM of X
recently celebrated a Birthday as did my pal JOHN POCHNA from the
ZERO ONE GALLERY where he had a huge Birthday Party.. I was
suffering from allergies and had to miss the party... I wanted to
come and wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY..... JOHN is one of the nicest
people you will ever want to meet. I am happy to hear that he had a
great party and that TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD sang Happy Birthday to
him.. I understand that PERI LISTER, DAVE VANIAN, MISS MERCY,
NORWOOD FISCHER, RICHARD CROWLEY, VAMP GIRL and the ever so late to
arrive BRENDAN MULLEN plus many more of John's friends and fans were
there.....Special Late Happy Birthday Wishes to AMY TALASKA, YASUKO
KAZAMA, and THALIA DRORI....The new Celebrity Dancers have been
announced for a new season of "DANCING WITH THE STARS" among the
stars involved are PENN GILLETTE, ADAM CARROLLA, KRISTI YAMAGUCHI,
PRISCILLA PRESLEY and STEVE GUTTENBERG .....
JAYNE COUNTY has a
new photo video of the song "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl" on You
Tube that rules... It is Good Fun!!! THE BLACK HALO'S are on a
huge tour of The USA, Canada and Europe...... YVONNE FRANKO who
works for a Fashion Company in Santa Monica, California that designs
Sportswear and Jeans. She just returned from a work related trip
to Peru ..... She had a great time- It was Summer there -but not
real hot because they were on the beach. She told me that she will
be traveling back and forth to Peru and on her next trip she will
get to take her husband MIKE along !!! PINK is getting a Divorce
from CAREY HART..They were a cool couple....
KATHY PECK of H.E.A.R.
was recently received the BELIEVE IN MUSIC... LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT
AWARD from THE NAMM CONVENTION... It was for her 20 years of hard
work and dedication for her work in Hearing Conservation and
Education... KATHY is also happy to report that she recently
attended a meeting at City Hall in regards to a Plague renaming the
Roland Street near 433 Broadway will now be known as DIRK DIRKSEN
STREET.. Thank you MS. PECK for your hard work in making this
possible !!! The San Francisco PUNK ROCK COMMUNITY has made
history!!! GENE and IKE are so happy to have ALLISON PERKINS back in
Land View.... WE all are happy!! She makes "ONE LIFE TO LIFE" so
good....Her and the wonderful ROXIE BALSOM played to perfection by
ILENE KRISTIN rawk when they are on screen together....It is also
wonderful to have the MULTI TALENTED SARAH BROWN back on "GENERAL
HOSPITAL"..She is sooooo Good!!!!!! In fact she has 3 or 4 Emmy's to
show for her talent... SENIOR DISCOUNT a Band who hail from The
North East have a new DVD out...PAT CROWE is excited to be moving
back into his brand new Condo in Victoria and hopefully be getting
his old job back.. WTD hope to see him in Victoria in
May....Speaking of jobs and WTD- CHELSEA ROSE has a new job at HOT
TOPICS..
JOHNNY JETSON has been very vocal about his political
beliefs and although he seems to lean towards RON PAUL... I admire
his attitude in getting involved and urging people to vote..... I
would like to thank MIKAEL RICHARD for his great artwork and we
can't forget PANCHO.... NICKY "MAD DOG" STRAIGHTJACKET is back in
California ready to rock with his band THE BONESHAKERS ...Look for
them...I am so impressed with NINJA DEATH'S work on doing a book
about her Mother's Jazz Club THE DARKSIDE in St. Louis... NINJA'S
Mom GAYLE TIBE owned and operated the club booking such talent as
STAN GETZ, LENNY BRUCE, SARAH VAUGHN, BILLY PEEK not to mention her
Boyfriend MILES DAVIS.. Most surprising was to find out that the
late Actor BOB CRANE was a well respected Jazz Drummer before
turning to acting.. BOB CRANE'S most famous role was that of HOGAN
on "HOGAN'S HERO'S".. He has a son SCOTTY CRANE who is a
Musician/Producer in the Seattle Area. Talent runs in the
family...Look for the MY SPACE Profile on THE DARKSIDE- NINJA has
done a wonderful job and the photo's are simply amazing..I wonder if
BILLY TIPTON or DAVE BLACK ever played there???
MARTIN JONES is so
happy that he has a new phone plan in the UK that allows hi to make
free International Calls in the evening!! TERRY ALEO has been back
jamming with a Blues /Rock Band in SF.. She is excited that she made
contact with JEFF the drummer for BITE.....They are old pals from
NYC.. PAULEY PERRETTE tells me NCIS will have 7 brand new episodes
beginning in early April on CBS........Special Thanks to CASSI and
NIC DANGER for your support HELLIN KILLER is back living in
Hollywood and following that yellow brick road... I am very
impressed how many people are coming together to help CHICKN - who
is the Guitarist for DI and will always be remembered for his
Guitar work with LISAFER and his struggle to beat Cancer.. A
benefit was recently held in Santa Ana with bands like AGENT ORANGE,
DI and many more bands playing..Keep strong CHICKN you can beat this
shit!! The last time I saw him he told me about JOSIE COTTON sending
him a note saying she enjoyed LISAFER'S version of "JOHNNY ARE YOU
QUEER"..... It does kick ass!! .. MIA ARAGON spent a few days up in
Bakersfield and had a wonderful time...It was great getting a call
out of the blue from RICHARD DUGUAY from the now legendary punk band
PERSONALITY CRISIS after not seeing him for almost 24 years...
RICHARD, POLLY and I hooked up at TINY'S and got caught up
..RICHARD told me about a tour he had done with DUFF from GUNS and
ROSES in Japan.. Turns out my pal PAUL SOLGER who played with DUFF
in THE FARTZ was also on that tour..
It is a such small World... As
reported earlier Author CHRIS WALTER who is from Vancouver is doing
a book about PERSONALITY CRISIS and is looking for MIKE BARBEAU of
RISKY RECORDS to do an interview with him....Anyone who may have
contact with Mike should have him contact CHRIS on MY
