Destitute are described as "Foxcore" from Portland, Oregon ... This trio of girls are really the offspring of The Portland's own Frances Farmer Gals. Who were some of the original Riot Grrls from Portland in the early 90's...... The Frances Farmer Gals featured Mistress Dawn and the late Jerri Anne Pierce... I wonder if Destitute have played a show with Portland staple Roger Nusic yet? This CD features 6 interesting songs that tell tales of love, drugs, betrayal, social issues and the immense need for gender equality... Violet Riot the lead singer has a voice alot like Deanna's from the 80's San Francisco punk band Fright Wig... Check them out
