ARKADE
@ Crocodile Cafe

by Miss Oblivious

Salutations from the great Northwest! There have been  new findings! I was at my local watering hole a few weeks back and met this amazing lady named Kelli Corrado! She is a guitarist in a band and teaches guitar to young ladies. We have major six degress of seperation between us which we discovered within five minutes! I won't get to deep into that now, but I soon discovered that she fronts this wonderful band Arkade!  Which, just so happens I had been in contact with the drummer Christopher Hydinger( also in Death By Doll), to help set up some dates for him & Dame Darcy!

The show was held at the Crocodile Cafe' in Bell town.   For the last few weeks I have been blissfully listening to their songs through myspace (http://www/myspace.com/arkade).  Really anticipating a live experience!

They had two guests members(added drums & guitar) for the night that enchanted the mood even further!  Guitars that strummed echo's through the walls of this venue were a sure treat! Inspiring vocals that seem to flow from Kelli's soul with ease, Chris's subtle and not-so-subtle drums add to this dreamy ambiance and at one point a rumble to keep you on your feet! Niki Sugar is very Keen on the keys.Noises, melodies and outlets- to -the- unknown seem to be his specialty.

A refreshing experience, no gimmicks, no fancy dancy attitudes just brutally honest melodies played in a refreshingly raw flow!
